Senior Maintenance Engineer , you'll play a hands-on but leadership-focused role, supporting and guiding engineering teams while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include: Leading and organising shift handovers, prioritising workloads, and providing technical support to engineers. Coaching and mentoring junior engineers, supporting training, PDPs, appraisals, and team development. Driving health and safety, machine availability, and liaising closely with production. Mechanical: Strip and rebuilds, gearbox repairs, bearings, pulleys, chains, and pneumatics (limited hydraulics). Electrical: Fault finding across three-phase systems, panels, sensors, contactors, relays, E-stops, and multimeter use. Supporting PPM schedules including checks, lubrication, rebuilds, and voltage testing. Involvement in Continuous Improvement, RAMS, stores management, and process development to reduce reactive maintenance. What the client is looking for To succeed as a
