all while growing your career in an inclusive and forward-thinking organisation. Responsibilities for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer:

Developing composite processing techniques and assembly strategies for specialist aerospace parts.

Improving manufacturing processes in line with a Zero Defects philosophy.

Creating clear work instructions for end-to-end manufacture (laminating through to assembly and paint).

Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and existing programmes, including direct customer interaction.

Using data-driven problem-solving approaches to drive quality and efficiency.

Leading continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and improve processes.

Identifying tooling requirements and approving tools for production use.

Conducting PFMEAs and implementing control plans across different product lines.

What Were Looking For in the appointed Manufacturing Engineer:

HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject, or an accredited engineering apprenticeship with industry experience.

Solid knowledge of composite materials processing methods

Understanding of composite material testing (advantageous).

Experience working with ERP systems to create and maintain BoMs and Routings.

Familiarity with problem-solving techniques such as 8D and 5 Whys.

Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.

A self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of activities.

Team player able to collaborate effectively with wider operations teams.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £60,000

£65,000 (depending on experience)

Early finish on Fridays.
