Senior Mechanical / Design Engineer Required\n\nLocation: Manchester\n\nI’m working with a global, multi-disciplinary consultancy who have recently opened a brand-new Manchester office in a prime central location, housed in a modern, innovative building. The office currently has a team of 10, with ambitious plans to double in size over the next couple of years.\n\nThey have delivered high-profile public sector, commercial, life sciences, and industrial projects across the UK, with some work recently featured in industry news. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical / Design Engineer to support the Director in managing clients, leading teams, and driving the growth of the Manchester office.\n\nWhat the Role Offers:\n\n * \n\n Clear career progression in a modern, collaborative office\n\n * \n\n Hybrid working flexibility\n\n * \n\n Dedicated training budget and support towards chartership\n\n * \n\n Opportunities to work on innovative projects and initiatives\n\nScope of Work:\n\n * \n\n Mechanical building services design across medium to large-scale projects\n\n * \n\n Delivery across all RIBA stages\n\n * \n\n Mentoring and supporting junior engineers\n\n * \n\n Leading elements of the design team and assisting with office growth plans\n\nKey Skills / Experience:\n\n * \n\n Strong design and project management skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to work across teams and stakeholders\n\n * \n\n Experience in public sector, commercial, life sciences, industrial, or decarbonisation sectors \n\nPackage:\n\n * \n\n Up to £60,000 base salary\n\n * \n\n 25 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Training and development support\n\n * \n\n Chartership support\n\n * \n\n Modern office with a supportive team culture\n\n Senior Mechanical / Design Engineers, please get in touch and we'll aim to get back to you in 24/48 hours
