🚨 Contract Opportunity: Mechanical Design Engineer (Wastewater) 📍 Location: Fully Remote (UK-based) 📄 Engagement: Outside IR35 🏗️ Sector: Water FrameworkWe’re hiring a Mechanical Wastewater Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and related infrastructure.🔧 Key Responsibilities: • Design mechanical systems – pumps, valves, pipelines, blowers, compressors • Develop P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications • Perform hydraulic calculations and energy efficiency assessments • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams • Ensure compliance with WIMES, BS EN, and CDM regulations🎯 Ideal Candidate: • Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer (BEng/BSc) • 3–7+ years’ experience in water/wastewater design • Skilled in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or Revit MEP • Strong understanding of mechanical installation and corrosion prevention • Bonus: CFD, FEA, or hydraulic modelling experience📩 Interested?
