If so, we want to hear from you!About the RoleDue to continued growth and exciting new projects, we’re looking for a talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients dynamic Engineering Team in Reading. They’re are a multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in innovative, sustainable, and efficient design. You’ll work alongside industry experts on projects spanning education, commercial, retail, industrial, leisure, and more. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of sectors and cultures, making every day unique.What You’ll Be DoingDelivering detailed mechanical designs as part of a collaborative project teamWorking closely with structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors (both in-house and external)Attending project and technical meetings to ensure seamless project deliveryEnsuring all designs and building systems comply with legislative and health & safety standardsAdvising clients and architects on energy efficiency and sustainability, helping to reduce environmental impactDesigning site-specific equipment and overseeing the installation of building systemsSpecifying maintenance and operating procedures for building servicesUsing specialist CAD and BIM (Revit) software to create innovative solutionsWhat We’re Looking ForA degree (or higher qualification) in Building Services or a related disciplineSignificant experience in a similar mechanical design roleChartered status (or working towards it) with a relevant institution is highly desirableExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to clients and project teamsAmbition, a willingness to learn, and strong organisational skillsA passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable engineering solutionsIf you’re looking for a new challenge and want to work on projects that make a real difference, apply today and join our clients talented team!
