What the job involves

They need an additional Mechanical Design Engineer or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in York. You will join the building services design team and specialise in that sector.

You will mainly work on rail-related schemes not only in the UK, but also in Dubai and Europe from York. This means you may contribute to some of the world\'s largest rail projects from your home office or their relaxing workplace.

You should be comfortable with all aspects of mechanical building services design and be used to working within a BIM environment beyond Revit. The team is at the cutting edge of collaborative working.

Although the culture is relaxed and friendly, interactions with partners are handled professionally. An interest in building physics and sustainability will be well received.

Qualifications

Chartered status is beneficial. If you plan to pursue chartership, you\'ll receive support to achieve it. If chartership isn\'t on your agenda, your on-the-job experience will be valued.
