Overview

There are not many Senior Mechanical Design Engineer roles like this one, especially in York. To save you reading further, you'll need to have a building services design background for this post; it isn't for you if you are an expert in a different field.

They offer truly flexible working: you work the times that suit you, and in the location that fits best. They don't have offices; they have workplaces. It's a subtle difference, but it means the commute needn't be a chore. 26 days holiday, plus options to buy an additional 10 days' leave each year. 8% employer pension contribution if you contribute 4%, enhanced sick pay, Group Income Protection and life insurance. BUPA private medical. Well-being programme with a health line, health checks, wellness champions, social events and fitness challenges. They focus on sustainability and social impact in their projects, including infrastructure work that aims to minimise environmental impact and benefit communities while connecting with the wider area.
