Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a creative and hands-on design engineer with a passion for developing complex electromechanical products? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team working on high-precision systems used across global industrial and energy sectors. In this role, youll be involved in the entire product lifecycle

from concept and detailed design through to prototyping, testing, and production. Youll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative new products while continually enhancing and refining existing designs.

What youll be doing as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Designing and developing advanced electro-mechanical products to meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines

Producing clear, accurate design documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, and servicing

Driving continuous improvement through design reviews and product refinement

Applying industry standards to ensure product safety and compliance

Working closely with production engineering and supply chain teams to transition designs from prototype to manufacture

Supporting quality and environmental management processes

Researching and implementing new technologies, materials, and design techniques

What were looking for in a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering

At least 5 years experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related design tools

Broad understanding of manufacturing techniques including CNC machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, welding, coatings, and 3D printing

Practical and hands-on approach to solving technical challenges

A keen eye for detail and a drive to create high-quality, reliable products
