The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be a key player within the national MEP division, taking on both technical and client-facing responsibilities. From leading project designs to shaping sustainable solutions, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact—on buildings, on the environment, and on your own career trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Leadership – Build and manage strong client relationships while defining project scope.
- Collaborative Design – Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality, compliant solutions.
- Project Delivery – Produce mechanical designs, specifications, drawings, and technical reports.
- Champion Sustainability – Drive the adoption of energy-efficient, sustainable practices.
- Team Mentorship – Support and develop junior engineers within the team.
- Continuous Development – Keep ahead of industry trends and contribute to technical excellence.
About You
- Experience – At least 5 years in Building Services, with strong knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, and best practice.
- Technical Skills – Skilled in mechanical ventilation, heating, and cooling systems, with practical experience using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Soft Skills – A confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset.
- Qualifications – Degree or HNC/HND in a Building Services discipline. Progress toward Chartership is a big plus.
