The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be a key player within the national MEP division, taking on both technical and client-facing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Client Leadership – Build and manage strong client relationships while defining project scope.
• Collaborative Design – Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality, compliant solutions.
• Project Delivery – Produce mechanical designs, specifications, drawings, and technical reports.
• Champion Sustainability – Drive the adoption of energy-efficient, sustainable practices.
• Team Mentorship – Support and develop junior engineers within the team.

About You

• Experience – At least 5 years in Building Services, with strong knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, and best practice.
• Technical Skills – Skilled in mechanical ventilation, heating, and cooling systems, with practical experience using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Soft Skills – A confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset.
• Qualifications – Degree or HNC/HND in a Building Services discipline. Progress toward Chartership is a big plus.
