Responsibilities

  • Join the building services design team in York as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
  • Work mainly on rail-related schemes, including projects UK and internationally (Dubai and Europe from York).
  • Contribute to large rail projects from a home office or relaxed workplace environment.
  • Be comfortable with all aspects of mechanical building services design.
  • Work within a BIM environment beyond Revit; collaborate in a cutting-edge, integrated design process.
  • Engage with partners professionally while maintaining a relaxed, credible culture.
  • Show an interest in building physics as part of the sustainability focus.

Qualifications

  • Chartered status is a benefit; if pursuing chartership, the company offers support to achieve it.
  • On-the-job experience is valued even if chartership is not currently on your agenda.
