Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

£45-60,000 per annum

Due to several recent major project wins and in line with an ambitious growth plan we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the London office of a global multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be taking a lead role on the successful delivery of innovative mechanical/ HVAC design on critical infrastructure projects in the UK and Europe.
  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for attending design team and client meetings and working with the wider multi-disciplinary engineering design team.
  • The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will take responsibility for training and mentoring less experienced Engineers in the team.



SKILLS AND BACKGROUND


  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in either mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
  • Relevant experience as a Senior level Mechanical Design Engineer working on large scale or complex projects within a consultancy environment is essential.
  • A member of an industry body such as CIBSE or the IMechE ideally holding or working towards Chartered Status.
