Do you have a passion for mechanical engineering and a desire to shape the future of water infrastructure?

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic MEICA team. In this pivotal client–side role, you'll provide corporate administration and technical leadership to our mechanical engineers, ensuring our designs are at the forefront of best practice, compliant with all standards, and evolve with new technologies. You'll oversee resource allocation, tackle complex mechanical queries, and play a crucial role in delivering capital engineering schemes from inception through to commissioning.

You'll be instrumental in every stage of project delivery, contributing to technical deliverables and collaborating with multi–disciplinary teams to achieve project success. This role demands excellent self–management, the ability to prioritise both your own and your team's workload, and a steadfast commitment to Health and Safety/CDM requirements.

You'll also represent South East Water at industry working groups, further solidifying our commitment to excellence and innovation. Join us and make a tangible impact on the provision of essential water services.

Although this role offers flexible/hybrid working (office/home), you will be expected to attend the South East Water Head Office in Snodland on a regular basis, and be able to travel to any location within our supply areas, as required, as part of the project(s) you or your team are working on e.g. pre–construction
