Reports to: Service Line Lead / Senior Director
The Role
A leading building services consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Technical Due Diligence Engineer to join their Engineering and Sustainability team. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the technical due diligence (TDD) service line while also supporting dilapidations and project monitoring. This is a great opportunity to work on landmark commercial properties and developments across the UK and Europe, while building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver TDD, dilapidations, and project monitoring services within the MEP team
- Carry out inspections, site visits, client meetings, and technical report writing
- Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage workload, financial performance, and resourcing
- Contribute to sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives within TDD
Key Skills & Experience
- Degree in engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong technical knowledge of building services systems
- Proven experience in commercial TDD (essential), dilapidations (desirable)
- Excellent report writing, organisational and communication skills
- Interest in sustainability and decarbonisation of buildings
- Aspiration towards Chartered Engineer status (support provided)
