Location: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester (Open to location)

Reports to: Service Line Lead / Senior Director

The Role

A leading building services consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Technical Due Diligence Engineer to join their Engineering and Sustainability team. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the technical due diligence (TDD) service line while also supporting dilapidations and project monitoring. This is a great opportunity to work on landmark commercial properties and developments across the UK and Europe, while building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver TDD, dilapidations, and project monitoring services within the MEP team
  • Carry out inspections, site visits, client meetings, and technical report writing
  • Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage workload, financial performance, and resourcing
  • Contribute to sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives within TDD

Key Skills & Experience

  • Degree in engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services systems
  • Proven experience in commercial TDD (essential), dilapidations (desirable)
  • Excellent report writing, organisational and communication skills
  • Interest in sustainability and decarbonisation of buildings
  • Aspiration towards Chartered Engineer status (support provided)
