Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (DOE).ResponsibilitiesEnsuring the network runs efficiently day-to-day, resolving issues quickly and effectively.Tackling complex challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements.Supporting the evolution of monitoring systems and automation approaches.Influencing roadmap decisions and contributing to future upgrades.Acting as a trusted point of escalation for incidents.Mentoring and supporting other engineers, sharing best practice.QualificationsStrong background in network engineering within a service provider, data centre, or similar environment.Solid understanding of modern network infrastructure.Hands-on experience with routing and troubleshooting.Familiarity with network monitoring and automation concepts.Clear communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.Leadership or mentorship qualities.Industry certifications are a bonus, but not essential.The ideal candidate is someone who thrives not only on their technical abilities but also on their interpersonal strengths.
