This role is for a Senior / Principal Digital Implementation Engineer in Southern England.
Role and responsibilities
- Work on live commissions for UK water sector projects delivering digital advisory and implementation services.
- Assist with internal implementation initiatives and develop execution plans.
- Provide strategic advisory services and hands-on implementation support across a broad digital landscape (information management, software development, GIS, data engineering, IT).
- Collaborate with internal multi-disciplinary teams as well as client teams and support junior team members’ career development.
- Help grow the Digital Team and support adoption of the Moata platform.
Candidate specification
Essential
- Degree level education in a subject relating to the position
- An excellent understanding of digital services and solutions which could be applied in the UK water industry
- Experience managing small digital delivery teams and a willingness to support junior team members with career development
- Track record in working closely with clients to advise and implement on digital change
- Excellent technical report writing skills using concise English
- Strong communication skills with experience in effective collaboration across internal multi-disciplinary teams as well as client teams
Desirable
- Chartered Status with a recognised Professional Institution
- Experience and track record with applying the principles of ISO19650
- Experience with change management principles
- Experience working within the UK water industry
- Experience with Python, PowerAutomate & PowerBI
- Experience with ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud or Sharepoint
