OverviewAre you an experienced Process Engineer with a preference for clean water projects and a passion for sustainable solutions? Join Stantec and help tackle the urgent water resource and climate change challenges facing our communities. Our clean water process team is involved in projects ranging from new treatment plant design to long term strategic resource schemes and optimising existing assets to deployment of source‑to‑tap solutions for emerging threats like PFAS. The role is for a Senior Process Engineer to join the clean water team in the Midlands, based in Birmingham, Derby or Redditch. The opportunities span AMP cycle and Strategic Resource Options schemes, with a primary focus on clients in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland, and projects across the UK.
Day‑to‑day activities can include onsite test work, new system design and utility business plans support, and contributing to projects that mean something for the communities we serve.
ResponsibilitiesContribute to solutions for water catchment, resource scarcity, treatment and emerging pollutant challenges.Apply experience in a clean water process specialism (design, science or operation).Participate in on‑site testing techniques to improve asset performance (e.g. jar testing).Collaborate effectively within a growing UK and global team.Support innovation and best practice to deliver results for the water sector.
QualificationsExperience in clean water process design, science or operation.Interest in on‑site testing techniques and asset performance improvement.Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team setting. enthusiasm for applying innovation and industry best practice.
