Job Title: Senior Process Engineer (Nuclear) • Location: Warrington (3 days per week on site) • Contract Length: 12 months • IR35 Status: Inside IR35 • Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required or willingness to undergo

We are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join a key nuclear programme based in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project focused on the reuse and management of Reprocessed Uranium (RepU) in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and process engineering expertise within a multidisciplinary team
  • Support process design and development activities in line with project objectives
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, regulatory and design standards
  • Contribute to project planning, documentation, and delivery
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including safety assessors and design authorities

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Chemical, Process, or related engineering discipline
  • Significant experience as a process engineer in nuclear or similarly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of nuclear fuel cycle, waste processing, or reprocessing (desirable)
  • Able to work on-site in Warrington 3 days per week
  • Hold valid SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it
