We support the full project lifecycle, from pre-contract to post-contract, handling infrastructure projects ranging from hundreds of thousands of pounds to over £200M.Due to increasing client demands, we are expanding our team and seeking talented individuals to support our Defence client portfolio while advancing their careers on complex, challenging projects.Important: Due to the sensitive nature of these projects, applicants must be SOLE UK nationals eligible for UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). Existing SC clearance is desirable but not mandatory; if you believe you are a strong candidate, please apply.We are currently looking to engage project controls professionals with a focus on planning. As a Senior Project Controls Engineer, your role includes providing project controls services, which may involve:Create and maintain project schedules aligned with project requirements.Develop schedules in collaboration with project managers and teams.Reduce uncertainty, clarify objectives, and enhance efficiency.Assist project managers in scheduling work and coordinating assignments.Evaluate schedule progress, performance, and identify potential issues.Support change management processes and procedures.Develop status reports to inform management of project progress.Conduct analyses for alternative actions or recovery plans on delayed schedules.QualificationsCandidates should have professional experience in Project Controls, specializing in Planning & Scheduling across the project lifecycle, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and other planning tools. Ability to coordinate across disciplines is essential.Essential:A degree in a relevant technical or management field or equivalent experience.Membership in a professional body such as APM or PMI.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams.Experience in stakeholder management.Working in Teams/Site AttendanceWe support flexible working arrangements, including hybrid models, to promote work-life balance. Typically, you will spend about 60% of your time on client sites or in offices, depending on project needs. The office environment fosters collaboration, learning, and innovation.Security ClearanceApplicants must be UK nationals eligible for SC clearance, as many projects are subject to MoD security requirements.
