Converged Process initiative focuses on a "Full Self-Service Certification" solution supporting the certification of all types of mobile devices across all channels through a single self-guided experience, which can be refined and maintained by the customer without limitations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
- Test integrations between the UI and back-end APIs, including Jira API endpoints and other Atlassian ecosystem tools.
- Validate that UI elements meet design specifications, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive behavior requirements.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Use Atlassian Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and Agile sprint coordination.
- Build and maintain automated regression test suites using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Work with developers to reproduce, isolate, and document issues with clear, actionable defect reports.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
- Perform performance and load testing for critical features, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Provide feedback on requirements and designs early in the development cycle to prevent defects.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Skills
Must have
- Proven experience testing React/JavaScript web applications.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3) and how they affect test planning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools such as Postman or Swagger for API testing.
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar).
- Experience working in Atlassian Jira-driven Agile environments for defect and test management.
- Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports and collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows for QA automation code.
Nice to have
