Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Our client is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a critical government programme delivering secure, scalable digital services.

Location: Remote (Option available for Hybrid in London)

Role Overview:

You will be an integral part of an Agile delivery team, responsible for driving quality across complex systems. Your tasks will include building test frameworks, owning API testing, and leading automation efforts, while shaping quality delivery in production environments.

Requirements:

• Strong Java and OOP fundamentals
• Experience with RESTAssured and API testing
• Familiarity with contract testing tools (e.g., Pact)
• Skills in integration testing and mocking services
• Proficiency in SQL/RDBMS for data validation
• Understanding of CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and end-to-end testing processes
