Position: Quantity Surveyor – Structural Steelwork

Location: London

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience)

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing costs and contracts for a diverse range of projects, ensuring financial efficiency and value for money.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for structural steel projects.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Must have a background in structural steel.
  • Strong understanding of cost management and procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
