Wood is currently looking for a Senior Safety System Engineer to join our System Integration (SI) team within our Digital Consulting business supporting across our UK projects. There is a requirement for hybrid working with Tuesday and Wednesday being based out of Aberdeen, Glasgow or Staines. Occasional travel to the client site is also expected as required. Applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.The RoleThe Senior Safety Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of complex systems throughout their lifecycle. This person will lead hazard analysis, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities will extend to relay-based systems, where they apply expertise in relay logic and compressor control systems to design, assess, and validate safety-critical functions.Our Clients and ProjectsDesigning the future.
