Senior Security Engineer 6 month FTC London to £100k Are you a Senior Security Engineer from an Infrastructure, Systems or Networking background? You could be progressing your career at a specialist commodities trading firm in a six month fixed term contract that is likely to extend. As a Senior Security Engineer you will implement and maintain robust security systems and protocols across the company's IT infrastructure, conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans, mitigating vulnerabilities identified in penetration testing and implementing preventative measures to protect against cyber threats with a focus on WAF, IDS, IPS, Windows Security and Palo Alto firewalls. You also manage the 3rd party SOC provider. Location / WFH: There's a hybrid work from home model with three days a week in the London office, there is a smart, professional dress code. Please note this role is on shift basis of either 0730-1630 (WFH days) and 0830-1730 (office days). About you: You are a Senior Security Engineer from an Infrastructure, Systems or Networking background You have strong experience with CrowdStrike, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN firewalls, Windows security e.g. EntraID, DNS, Active Directory You have experience of managing WAF and DDoS systems You're comfortable managing third party suppliers / SOC You are collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills What's in it for you: Salary to £100k per annum (pro-rata over 6 months) Pension Health Insurance Hybrid working Apply now
