Senior Software Engineer – join an exciting Tech driven business

Up to £75,000

Hybrid working – 1-2 days a week onsite

Technologies: React.js, Node.js & TypeScript

We’re currently partnered with an exciting Tech business in Manchester who are growing and are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join them on their next growth journey.

As a leading Marketplace, the business has seen an increase in demand and is looking to build new products to support their growth. To achieve this, they are looking for a Senior Engineer who wants to remain hands-on and play a vital role in mentoring and coaching their engineering team.

You’ll be joining a team that specializes in React.js, Node.js & TypeScript. You’ll work closely with the Head of Engineering to bring in new ideas, work on exciting new products, and ensure projects are delivered.

What will you be doing:

1. Taking the lead on the design, architecture, and development of applications
2. Leading technical decision-making to ensure alignment with business goals
3. Collaborating with the wider team to define technical requirements and develop new solutions
4. Being responsible for architecting and implementing RESTful APIs
5. Developing interactive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.js
6. Mentoring and coaching team members through code reviews
7. Ensuring TDD practices are being followed and implementing unit tests

Hybrid working – office based in Manchester CC, with the team currently onsite 1-2 days per week
