What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design and development of internal and customer-facing systems for feature visibility and lifecycle progression
- Own and evolve the architecture of multiple services that support release management
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering leadership to influence roadmaps and set plans for release lifecycle tooling
- Drive initiatives that enhance feature discoverability, adoption, and reliability for customers
- Mentor and guide engineers, raising the bar on technical design, execution, and code quality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
- Strong programming and system design fundamentals
- Experience owning and evolving large-scale enterprise applications or platforms
- Proven track record of mentoring and elevating peers and teams
- Full-stack engineering expertise, with experience building scalable backend services and intuitive web applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with release systems, feature flagging/gating, and phased rollouts at scale
- Familiarity with distributed systems and data platforms to ensure reliability and auditability
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence organizational priorities with clear technical rationale
- Experience with Go and React/TypeScript (or similar modern stacks)
- A track record of shipping high-quality features that significantly improved customer experience
