Accountabilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-based architecture with a focus on performance and reliability
- Manage and optimize large-scale data systems, handling over one billion records efficiently
- Implement robust data engineering practices to address complex data challenges
- Review code and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Mentor intermediate engineers and provide technical guidance on complex projects
- Maintain a customer-first mindset, ensuring software solutions deliver tangible value
- Coordinate with stakeholders to provide updates, share technical insights, and drive project outcomes
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET software development
- Strong expertise in data engineering, including handling and processing large datasets
- Proven experience designing, managing, and delivering complex technical projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize data handling processes
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Leadership experience in mentoring engineers and guiding technical initiatives
- Knowledge of scalable system design and architecture
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote team and understand the impact of your collaboration
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
Desirable Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with React and AWS
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and applications
- Prior experience in startup or scale-up environments
