Senior Software Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid 2 Days a week)

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Build & Deliver - Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using TypeScript, AWS, GraphQL, and more.
• Take Ownership - Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure with responsibility for the systems you build.
• Innovate - Help integrate AI and automation into the product suite to tackle problems in smarter ways.
• Collaborate - Contribute to code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions within a talented team.
• Engineer with Quality - Apply TDD practices, ensuring robust automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Keep Systems Running Smoothly - Ensure applications are secure, scalable, observable, and performant in production (tools include DataDog).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Significant experience as a Senior Software Engineer (or equivalent).
• Strong full-stack expertise across JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, and AWS (EKS, Lambda, RDS).
• A proven track record in building resilient APIs and managing backend services/databases.
• Experience with TDD and testing frameworks such as Jest and Pact.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with observability/monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog).
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
