Senior Full Stack Engineer – Contract - Up to £550 per day outside IR35 - 3 months

Tech Stack: Python or Ruby, React.js, TypeScript, AWS

We are currently partnered with a growing Digital Health Tech scale-up who have grown into a global team with the mission to empower customers to have better control over their health and wellbeing.

Backed by top investors, they have now supported thousands of patients across the UK and their consumer base is continuing to grow. They are now looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join them on a contract basis as they continue to deliver new projects. This role will be within their new team and you\'ll be working on new projects to help the business continue to scale.

What will you be doing

• Be responsible for designing and developing tools that will enhance patient care and improve patient outcomes
• Implement best practices and appropriate tools & technologies onto the codebase. You’ll be working with TypeScript, React & Next.js on the Frontend and Python or Ruby on the Backend
• Work closely with a cross-functional team including product designers, product managers and other stakeholders within the business to define project requirements
• Play a vital role in building a positive team culture and help to support and mentor engineers within your team

What are they looking for

• Experience in Python or Ruby with exposure to React.js and TypeScript - this role is more Backend leaning
• Design and implement web APIs
• Able to demonstrate experience in building modern, scalable web applications and a good understanding of distributed systems
• Good understanding of observability
