Responsibilities

• Build the new generation of Object Storage
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions to meet organizational goals and user requirements, facing the complexity of high-performance and highly reliable object storage systems on Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and performance of applications
• Provide technical expertise, mentorship, and innovative problem-solving to drive project success and continuous improvement
• As a Senior Software Engineer, collaborate on the roadmap for critical enterprise features for a large-scale Object Storage system
• Create and integrate cloud-native technologies and architectural approaches
• Understand industry differentiators, exercise design thinking, analyze systems, and develop solutions from idea to release
• Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment to sustain a product portfolio
• Work in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication
• Be obsessive about performance to meet high-traffic requirements

What You Will Need

• Solid track record in C++ development (production-level experience)
• Expertise in designing and managing distributed systems with exceptional performance
• Practical experience with Envoy Proxy to enhance technical knowledge
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization, including deploying and managing production workloads
• Understanding of software development practices, including Agile and product life cycles: build, test, deploy, iterative environments
