Role

Senior Software Engineer required to build technology that integrates seamlessly with SaaS and AI ecosystems, automatically detecting and safeguarding sensitive information.

The Role

To lead in designing, building, and scaling our core systems, including:

• Our sensitive data detection and classification engine
• Large-scale data pipelines handling billions of data items daily
• Systems for sensitive data remediation and automated policy enforcement
• Building out our suite of AI features, like data classification, anomaly detection, etc.

Our stack includes TypeScript (Node.js) for backend services, GraphQL, Postgres, and React/TypeScript on the frontend. We deploy to AWS ECS Fargate using GitHub Actions and Terraform continuously releasing to production.

AI is a big part of our product, so a strong background here would be advantageous.

Ideal Experience

• Experience with AI/ML at a large scale, including model training and deployment
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js in backend service development
• Experience with distributed messaging systems like Kafka
• Knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure operations
• Familiarity with Temporal for orchestrating complex workflows
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog for monitoring systems at scale
• Experience operating data-intensive applications in production environments
• Hybrid working - 2 days a week in our office in Hoxton, London
