Overview

Location: Cambridgeshire. We are partnering with a fast-growing start-up that designs and builds advanced automated machinery for real-world applications. They’re looking to bring a Senior Engineer into their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Champion best practices in software design, architecture, and agile methods
• Lead re-architecture efforts to prepare for large-scale growth (10x–100x)
• Mentor junior software engineers
• Guide pragmatic “buy vs build” decisions
• Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and maintainability

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM discipline from a top university
• 10+ years’ experience in software engineering
• 10+ years’ hands-on experience with C# and .NET
• Experience with Linux, Python, and Azure DevOps
• A track record in both start-ups/scale-ups and larger organisations
• Experience working with robotics or other hardware-based products
