A leading global technology business in the travel and lifestyle space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript, AWS, Node, React) to join a collaborative, cross-functional engineering squad. This role goes far beyond coding — you’ll help design, build, and optimise scalable, cloud- systems that power digital products used by millions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, AWS, GraphQL, Node.js, and React Take end-to-end ownership of the systems you create, from frontend to backend and infrastructure Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver business-critical features Champion best practices including test-driven development and continuous integration/delivery Drive innovation by integrating AI and automation into platform solutions Maintain high standards of performance, scalability, security, and observability (using tools like DataDog)
What We’re Looking For
Significant experience in software engineering, ideally in a senior capacity Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, and AWS (EKS, Lambda, RDS) Strong background in building and maintaining robust APIs (REST and GraphQL) Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Pact Practical experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
