Our UK client is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer [6-12 Month Contract]

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7 years of Calypso experience.
• 5 years of development experience as requested.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business teams and end users to review and understand business needs and develop solutions.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes, procedures, and solutions; recommend or design compliant future states.
• Demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment as a Calypso developer, with strong knowledge of the back-office domain and associated features, along with significant experience with agile methodologies and tooling.
• Have expertise in Capital Markets, with exposure to asset classes like FX, Commodities, Fixed Income, and understanding of the product lifecycle.
• Hands-on technical development experience with Calypso, including designing, coding, testing, modifying, and implementing software features.
• Liaise with Development Managers; write clean, scalable code; create testing protocols; fix bugs; deploy programs.
• Understand the functional and regulatory environment for Capital Markets.
