Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site in Southampton)

Responsiblities

  • Own the architecture, and carry out design, implementation and developer-level testing of UI, server, and interface components, using C#, in on-premise, multi-threaded, multi-server environments.
  • Lead technical decisions on architectural direction using a collaborative, team-based approach.
  • Ensure the architecture accounts for security, scalability, compatibility, and maintainability.
  • Perform testing of your work, fix defects, and help resolve customer support cases.

Skills Required

  • Solid experience developing applications in C#.
  • Owning the Architecture.
  • Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and other product quality disciplines.
  • Good knowledge of SOLID principles.
  • Experience creating maintainable code and using source control solutions such as DevOps, GIT or similar.
  • Experience with multi-tenant cloud solutions.
  • Understanding of network security, authentication, and authorization.
  • Experience with databases using Entity Framework or similar.
  • Experience creating RESTful APIs and ensuring API extensibility.
