Are you a seasoned software engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology? This global law firm in Manchester is revolutionising the legal landscape by integrating technology and innovation into every aspect of practice. They push boundaries, embrace change, and aim to make legal services efficient, accessible, and client-centric. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions to enhance legal processes, and will brainstorm and integrate new ideas and solutions (AI, DevOps methodologies). You will be required to come into the office three times a week.

Responsibilities will also include coding new bespoke applications and suggesting and integrating new technologies such as data visualisations, machine learning, and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions to enhance legal processes.
  • Brainstorm and integrate new ideas and solutions (AI, DevOps methodologies).
  • Come into the office three times a week as part of the role.
  • Code new bespoke applications and evaluate/ integrate new technologies (e.g., data visualisations, machine learning, AI).

Qualifications

  • 6+ years Full Stack Development experience and Object Orientated Programming experience.
  • Excellent experience with .NET programming (C#/ASP.NET, MVC).
  • Good experience using Azure cloud platforms.
  • Previous experience mentoring and teaching junior developers.
  • Degree in Computer Science (or similar) is desirable.
  • Experience working in the legal sector is beneficial.
