Senior Software Engineer - £90,000 to £100,000 - Hybrid (London 3 days per week) - Scala

La Fosse has partnered with a leading global sports data and insights organization that is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Scala experience. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact team, contributing directly to cutting-edge projects in the sports analytics space.

Key requirements:

Proven experience in Scala, leveraging Cats and Play to build robust, test-driven, functional applications Hands-on knowledge of Typelevel frameworks, including Cats, Cats Effect, http4s, and fs2 Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Comfortable working in Linux environments Experience working within Fintech (desirable not essential) Experience with tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Kanban methodology

Interview process:

1 - 30 minute HR Interview

2 - Technical assessment completed at home followed by a 1 hour technical interview

3 - 30 minute interview with CTO
