Senior Software Engineer - Artificial Intelligence – London – £100,000 – £150,000 base + Equity

About the Role

You will design, build, and test core software platforms and user interfaces. This includes deploying and testing with autonomous and robotic systems in the field, writing maintainable code for mission-critical environments, integrating with third-party APIs, and contributing to the development and documentation of internal APIs. Working closely with end users, you’ll rapidly iterate on the features that matter most — sometimes in live environments alongside real systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test core software platforms and user interfaces.
  • Deploy and test with autonomous and robotic systems in the field.
  • Write maintainable code for mission-critical environments.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs and contribute to internal API development and documentation.
  • Work closely with end users and rapidly iterate on features that matter most, including live environments.

Required Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, Java.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with autonomous systems and robotics.
