Are you a highly capable Senior Software Engineer experienced in modern web engineering, ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic, agile environment?

At atomic, we're seeking a passionate individual to lead projects within our mature team and drive technical excellence. You'll expand your knowledge of modern engineering approaches including working with AI and ML and you’ll be working directly with a wide range of modern web technologies including .NET Core, React, and Angular, alongside cloud services like AWS, Azure, and Firebase.

As a forward-thinking digital consultancy, atomic partners with top-tier clients such as JCB, Rolls-Royce, and Center Parcs. We offer comprehensive services including technical planning, product design, web/mobile/API development, cyber security, and cloud infrastructure.

Please note:

  • Whilst the role can largely be undertaken remotely, working from our Nottingham office will be required once a month or so.
  • You will be required to undertake our screening and pre-employment checks, which includes a criminal record (DBS) check. Any adverse check may result in an offer of employment being withdrawn
  • We do not hold a sponsors licence therefore you must have an existing right to work in the UK in order for us to progress your application

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects within a mature team and drive technical excellence
  • Develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, SQL, and front-end frameworks like Angular or React
  • Mentor the next generation of engineers and contribute to shaping technical direction
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, on technical planning, design, and delivery
  • Explore modern engineering approaches including AI and ML and cloud services

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in modern web application development
  • Strong foundation in .NET Core or ASP.NET Core, SQL
  • Front-end experience with Angular or React
  • Ability to craft well-thought-out solutions to complex challenges
  • Mentoring or leadership experience is a plus
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
