Overview
Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid – bi-weekly visits to London)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000
Clearance: Eligible for SC Clearance
SR2 is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with full stack skills across Java, React and AWS for an Agile Software Consultancy client with a central Manchester office.
They have a brand new exciting and innovative project, for a central UK Gov customer – the work is all impactful, and you’ll be working with the best most modern technologies and practices to deliver this critical project for the Government.
Note: Applicants must be British Citizen & eligable for SC clearance
Details & Benefits
You’ll be joining a well-established and stable software consultancy with a ‘software house’ feel to their culture and ways of working. Hours can be flexible and it is a 37.5 hour working week. Due to the nature of secured work, the requirement is hybrid working with 1-2 days per month visiting the customer in London. Other than that, you can work from home or in the office however you prefer.
Promotions are available all year round and upon joining you will be assigned a career coach to support you with regular mentoring, 1-2-1’s and help you to achieve your career aspirations and goals. Experience needed
- British Citizenship Active High Level Security Clearance
- Strong expertise within Java development with Spring boot & Microservices
- Experience working with AWS or Azure
- Strong communication skills
- Experienced with a modern Javascript framework such as React, Angular, Typescript, Vue.js (React is the preference)
