Overview

Due to company growth, my client, who provide remote diagnostic solutions to the automotive industry, is looking for a Senior Software Developer. This role is mainly home based and involves collaboration with colleagues in the US and UK, primarily via Teams.

Responsibilities

• Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients
• Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud
• Optimize web applications to ensure performance and scalability
• Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met
• Contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Ensure smooth deployment and integration of features
• Resolve operational issues and minimise downtime when needed

Key Skills

• Passionate about software engineering and delivering a quality product
• Deep understanding and extensive experience with backend technologies, including APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment automation
• Commitment to automated testing and unit tests to deliver readable, maintainable code
• Strong understanding of deployment technologies and concepts
• Proficiency in C# (full stack) and Vue.js
