Role: Senior Software Engineer – C# / .NET
Location: United Kingdom — Full Remote (Perm)
Harrington Starr has partnered with an innovative FinTech startup that provides market access and data from an ultra low-latency platform to financial services firms, leading exchanges and dealers across digital assets, FIX and more.
They are looking to hire a Senior C# / .NET Engineer with strong experience in start-up/scale-up environments, able to take ownership of developing new applications, adding features to existing systems and contributing to the growth of the company’s core products.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of developing new applications and adding features to existing systems.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the company’s core products.
- Develop highly scalable, low-latency applications using C# and .NET.
- Hands-on development with cloud-based, microservice architecture (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Practice TDD and Event Driven Development.
- Independent self-starter, confident with taking ownership of greenfield projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Interact with key internal stakeholders (C-Suite) as part of the delivery process.
Qualifications
- Extensive C#, .NET development experience (5+ years).
- Strong experience developing highly scalable, low-latency applications.
- Hands-on development experience with cloud-based, microservice architecture (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Extensive experience with TDD and Event Driven Development.
- Independent self-starter with ownership of greenfield applications.
- Strong collaborator and communicator.
- 2:1 in BSc Computer Science or related Mathematics-based degree.

- Excellent base salary up to £110,000 depending on experience.
