Overview

Oxford Instruments Andor is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer. The role focuses on developing applications software within Andor’s scientific product portfolio, with responsibilities spanning software applications development, product requirements management, quality testing strategy & development, and support for customer queries and production support.

Responsibilities

• Work in an applications software development team extending and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio.
• Software applications development, product requirements management, quality testing strategy & development, and support for customer queries and production support.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic/Software Engineering/Physics or equivalent qualification OR equivalent experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in using C++, C# or Java for Windows application development
• Object oriented design using industry standard techniques and tools
• Experience in the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering to test and support

Location & Working Model

This position is based at our Belfast headquarters on a hybrid working model.
