The role
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Senior/Staff/Principal Digital Design Engineers with a strong focus on CMOS digital design to lead the design, validation, and implementation of high-performance digital circuits for our next- OTPUs . This role demands deep expertise in digital circuit design, simulation, verification, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and semiconductor physics, along with a passion for developing reliable, high-performance digital circuits that drive breakthrough AI hardware .
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced CMOS digital integrated circuits, including RTL design, schematic capture, simulation, layout, and verification to meet the performance targets of our OTPU systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including optical hardware engineers, to ensure seamless integration of digital circuit blocks within our overall system architecture.
- Analyse digital circuit performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement innovative solutions to optimise power, speed, and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and promote best practices in CMOS digital circuit design, simulation, and testing.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in digital design methodologies and semiconductor technologies to continuously improve design practices and tooling.
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of industry experience in CMOS digital integrated circuit design, with a proven track record in digital logic design and verification.
- Expertise in digital design simulation, RTL coding, schematic capture, layout design, and testing using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for performance optimisation and signal integrity in digital circuits.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.
- Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, high-pace environments where innovation and speed are paramount.
- A drive for personal projects and continuous learning that differentiates you in the field.
