We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Building Design team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable building designs. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and construction of various building projects, ensuring their structural integrity and safety.Responsibilities:Collaborate with architects and other engineers to design and develop structural systems for new building projectsConduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure that designs meet safety and building code requirementsPrepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and reports for building structuresReview and approve construction plans and provide on-site support during the construction phaseUtilize software and tools to model and simulate structural designs for performance evaluationStay updated with the latest industry standards, codes, and regulations related to structural engineeringCandidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plusProfessional Engineer (PE) license is preferredProven experience in structural design and analysis for building projectsProficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.ProStrong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standardsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsPassion for sustainability and innovative building designSalary: £30,000 to £34,000 Per AnnumSector: Civil & Structural EngineeringContract Type: PermanentTown/City: Cardiff #J-18808-Ljbffr
