OverviewCalling all Senior Structural Engineers!Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Senior/Principal Structural Engineer to join a well-established consulting engineering firm, in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site from our client's office, near Chelmsford, 5 days a week. This is an incredible opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale projects from a range of sectors, such as residential, commercial, and public buildings, creating and developing designs with a supportive team.Salary and Benefits- Competitive salary ranging from £55,000-£65,000 (depending on experience).- Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities.ResponsibilitiesManage and lead structural engineering projects from concept to completion.Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.Prepare and review detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications.Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Attend site visits and inspections as required.What We Are Looking ForDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng preferred).Ideally Chartered or near-chartered status with ICE or IStructE.Extensive experience with low rise and medium rise residential projects, and a considerable amount of experience leading teams.Proficiency in design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar.Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an ability to manage projects within a limited deadline and budget. #J-18808-Ljbffr
