The Opportunity We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the design, coordination, and delivery of temporary and permanent works solutions across a diverse range of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced structural engineer (ideally Chartered) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving technical quality and safety. Lead the structural design and temporary works strategy for major construction projects. Collaborate closely with site teams, project managers, and external consultants to ensure safe, efficient, and buildable solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers. Review and approve temporary works designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery. Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.

About You Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) or working towards chartership. Proven experience in structural engineering within a main contractor or consultancy environment. Strong background in structural design and coordination (temporary works desirable but not essential - this can be taught) Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and site constraints. Skilled in structural analysis software and BIM tools. Strong communication and leadership skills.
