Senior Consultant at Skilled Careers | Structural Engineering

RC Frame | Landmark New Builds | UK & Middle East Projects

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Are you a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge, high-rise RC frame developments in the UK and internationally?

We’re working with a global engineering consultancy known for delivering some of the most innovative and technically complex structural designs across the UK, Middle East, and Asia. As part of their continued growth, they’re now seeking an ambitious and technically strong Senior Structural Engineer to join their London team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the design of large-scale reinforced concrete structures, primarily on high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and internationally to deliver coordinated, code-compliant structural solutions.
• Managing design packages from concept through to construction, including checking calculations, models, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentoring junior engineers and actively contributing to the technical development of the structural team.
• Collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and international design teams.

About You:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IStructE or ICE.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural design with a strong focus on reinforced concrete and high-rise structures.
• Proficient in software such as ETABS, SAFE, Robot, Tekla, and Revit.
• Strong understanding of Eurocodes, British Standards, and ideally Middle Eastern design standards.
• Confident communicator, capable of leading design discussions and representing the structural team in client meetings.
• Previous experience working on projects in the Middle East is desirable but not essential.
