Overview Senior Structural Engineer£45k-£55k + monthly bonusEssex/London, IG9 Are you a high achieving structural engineer, keen to further your career? This opportunity is for a dynamic, social and innovative structural engineering practice in IG9. The office is by a Central Line station and current staff highly recommend the office culture. The Director is MIStructE, MICE and an ICE Examiner. The firm has been running for over 8 years and plans to expand. There is an excellent monthly bonus scheme on top of basic salary. Responsibilities The successful candidate will:
Supervise two graduate engineers and manage own projects. Contribute to a portfolio of architecturally challenging projects and work as part of a team.
Qualifications and Experience
Several years of buildings design experience. Aspiring Chartership with the aim of achieving it quickly (if not already achieved). Interest in architecturally challenging projects; ability to work well in a team. Preference for candidates with MIStructE, MICE or ICE Examiner background is noted but not required.
About the Firm and Project Scope The firm operates with a team of around 10 staff and offers a supportive, dog-friendly environment. Projects include a mix of larger and small schemes, such as architecturally led private houses, multi-storey developments, a 30-storey tower cluster, a new 8-storey hotel, rooftop apartments and a multi-storey RC frame commercial project.
