OverviewWe are seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer with the ability to lead projects and manage a growing team. This is an opportunity to join a long-established, Yorkshire-based consultancy with over three decades of experience delivering Civil, Structural and Geo-Environmental Engineering solutions across the UK. Known for their collaborative culture and client-focused approach, the practice has built a reputation for elegant, efficient design that balances technical excellence with practical constructability.ResponsibilitiesTake responsibility for projects from concept through to completion, overseeing feasibility studies, detailed design, and delivery through all RIBA stages.Lead on a variety of schemes, from bespoke residential developments to larger commercial and multi-storey projects, ensuring high standards of technical quality and client satisfaction.Lead and mentor junior engineers, helping to develop the next generation of talent within the team.Collaborate with clients and external stakeholders to inspire confidence and deliver successful projects.QualificationsChartered Engineer (IStructE or ICE) with demonstrable experience in leading structural engineering projects.Strong technical and design expertise combined with proven leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, engage with clients, and influence project outcomes.What You’ll GainThis role offers the chance to step into a supportive, forward-thinking Consultancy where innovation and responsiveness are valued as highly as technical ability.
