As a key member, you will be involved in diverse projects, collaborating closely with clients and colleagues. This role offers a competitive salary, career advancement, and the chance to work on projects from conception to completion.Primary Responsibilities:Manage projects from conception to completionProduce calculations for structural materials (steel, concrete, masonry, timber)Prepare drawings using AutoCADConduct site visits and attend meetingsSelect appropriate construction materialsProvide technical advice to clients and colleaguesLiaise with relevant professionals as part of the design teamMonitor and inspect work undertaken by contractorsPrepare condition reports of existing structuresSkills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum of ten years relevant work experienceMIStructE or MICE qualification, or working towards itProficient in AutoCAD (minimum of 5 years UK-based experience)Experience with design software such as Tekla TEDDS, Tekla Building Designer, Fastrak Portal on UK projectsExperience in steelwork and reinforced concrete designExcellent critical thinking and communication skillsAbility to work independently and deliver projects from start to completionPackage on Offer:Competitive salary (£35k to £55k dependent on experience)Company pension scheme20 days floating holiday plus bank holidays, plus additional days at ChristmasPayment of fees to IStructE or ICE where applicableAdvancement to Associate Director possible with the right experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
